Justin Bieber is set to release his first album in four years today. The new album is reportedly called SWAG and features at least 20 songs.
Jane Birkin, who inspired the iconic Hermès Birkin bag, sold her original Birkin bag for a record €8.6 million ($10 million) at Sotheby’s. Birkin bags generally sell for between $20,000 and $30,000. Read the story behind the original Birkin here.
Mattel is launching a new Barbie doll with type 1 diabetes. The doll comes with an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitor. Barbie partnered with Breakthrough T1D, the leading global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy organization, to bring it to market.
Cheez-It is bringing its first-ever gluten-free crackers to store shelves. The brand says the new recipe will be available at retailers nationwide next year.
The wife of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed for divorce this week on “biblical grounds” and “in light of recent discoveries.” Paxton was impeached in 2023 by the Texas House of Representatives on allegations of corruption, which included claims of an extramarital affair.
F1’s Red Bull has fired Christian Horner, the 20-year team principal, despite a dominant era for the team. Red Bull did not give a reason for Horner’s departure. Laurent Mekies will serve as his replacement.
Ferrero is set to buy WK Kellogg for $3.1 billion. The deal expands Ferrero’s North American presence and product range amid changing consumer habits.
Nvidia became the world’s first company to close a trading day with a $4 trillion market cap. President Trump invited Nvidia’s CEO to join him at the White House on Thursday.
Linda Yaccarino resigned as CEO of X after two years. Without giving a reason for her departure, she said she was “grateful” to Musk for “entrusting her with the responsibility of protecting free speech” and more.

The Supreme Court will allow the Trump administration to carry out its efforts to reduce and restructure the federal workforce while the district court considers the merits of the case. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was the lone dissenter.
A federal judge blocked President Trump’s birthright citizenship order from being enforced against newborns nationwide. The ruling comes less than two weeks after the Supreme Court weighed in on the issue of nationwide bans.

ICE clashed with more protesters in Southern California as it raided a cannabis growhouse. Federal officers used gas canisters and flash bangs to remove protesters from the roads. Between 12 and 15 workers were reportedly detained.

American children are less healthy than they were 17 years ago, according to more than 170 health indicators. Chronic conditions such as anxiety, sleep apnea, and depression are up 15%–46% since 2011.
Measles cases in the U.S. are the highest in over 30 years, with 1,277 reported cases this year. While measles has been considered eliminated in the U.S. for the past 25 years, periodic outbreaks still occur.
The DOJ has issued subpoenas for more than 20 doctors and clinics that provide “transgender medical treatments” to minors. The Department said its investigations involve “healthcare fraud, false statements, and more.”

A 19-year-old surfer has been found alive on a remote island off Australia after going missing while surfing. Darcy Deefholts was discovered the following morning nearly eight miles offshore.
Russia launched its largest aerial attack on Ukraine this week, using 728 drones and 13 missiles, killing at least 12 people and injuring at least 60. Zelensky condemned the strike, while the U.S. resumed military aid.
Yemeni Houthis sank another cargo ship in the Red Sea, which marks the second attack this week alone. Ten crew members of the Liberian-flagged ship were rescued, but at least three were killed. The search for the remaining twelve crew member is ongoing.
