U mentioned Iran struck a hospital and Israel struck a nuclear site and other targets. What other targets did Israel hit and is Iran always hitting civilian targets or are they hitting military targets as well? Are their strikes on civilian targets purposeful or are they near misses to military targets?

Just watched The Body in the Snow—thanks for the rec! I didn’t know anything about the case going in.

I really feel for the victim’s family and hope they get justice, though that seems unlikely. The doc did a good job presenting both sides:

Defense says she dropped him off, he went inside, and something happened (dog, glass, etc.) before he ended up outside and froze to death. But if that’s true, wouldn’t someone inside have heard something?

Prosecution argues she hit him while intoxicated, and the broken glass/taillight caused his injuries. That seems more plausible to me, even if it was accidental.

Reed’s legal team was strong and raised real doubts—especially with the sloppy investigation and possibly planted evidence. Still, her demeanor reminded me of Robert Durst: oddly cheerful, like she got away with something. If she were innocent, I’d expect relief, not happiness, though without personally being in the situation it's hard to say for sure. Her reaction right after his death that she hit him seemed telling, and her initial statement at the beginning of the doc that she didn't kill him felt forced.

Regarding suicide hotline. What is the cost versus benefit for this specialized option? Will regular hotline still have information and resources to refer these people to for further help? Are there other subcategories on the suicide hotline? If so, what are they?

I find it interesting that the majority of the “x” polled “no” AND disagree to removing the LGBTQ+ from the national suicide line. Looks like we believe there is a need for services for other gendered people without a solution being offered to help those individuals. Seems America is afraid of change and / or new ideas. This is simply my observation. Your thoughts please.

Thank you for every episode. You are a bright light during these times.
